The impressed date code is 1868 and there is also an impressed "MINTON".  The piece stands 14 inches (36cm) high, the top of the pedestal is 15 inches (38cm) across and it weighs 27lbs (12.2Kg). The piece is in two parts with a central bolt that could lock them together. The condition of this piece is amazing with no substantial chips or cracks.  There is some very minor glaze chipping on the top/pedestal piece and there are a few tiny firing cracks and glaze chips on the base.  The bolt mounting in the underside of the top has been repaired at some point, but the repair is not visable when the two parts are brought together.  This is speculation on my part, and if you know differently please let me know, but I think there was originally a third piece - probably a short column - that fitted between these two pieces. When the two pieces are fitted together there is part of the underside of the top that is not painted and glazed, so I think it was not intended to be seen. This unglazed part is only visible if you view the assembled plant stand from below and it displays beautifully as you can see.Please email me with any questions.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
