Let this very rare handsome gigantic signed Steuben Rooster from the art deco 1930's rule the roost!!  If you spent the summer remodeling your kitchen let this stunning work of art glass be it's capstone.  This is an important vintage period piece designed by famed Steuben founder Frederick Carder. This is a very large statement sculpture, extremely hefty (at over 7lbs--the weight of a small bowling ball) with the superb detailing and clarity that is a hallmark of Steuben. This Rooster is just under 9 inches tall by 9 inches wide. It is in superb condition with few signs of wear and no chips, cracks or scratches of note. There are several tiny bubbles and stria in the glass, common in handmade glass from this timeframe. It is signed "Steuben" in diamond point script, along the front edge.  It is rare to find a Carder era Rooster in any condition and this one is a treasure.
