HNH 100 McCoy ~ PORCH JAR ~ green JARDINIERE vase AQUA Start Price USD 144.99 Current Price USD 144.99 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, November 22, 2008 End Time Monday, December 22, 2008 Location Big Lake, Minnesota See more about 'HNH 100 McCoy ~ PORCH JAR ~ green JARDINIERE vase AQUA ' Description This is a Gigantic 1940's Nelson McCoy PORCH JAR or jardiniere.  This item is an HNH top 100!  It is a rare item.   It measures a large 9 1/2" tall and 11" wide.  The color is an aqua blue/green and the condition is super!  The jar is faintly marked NM USA on the bottom.  Very hard to see on photo but easier to see in person.  This item can be reference on page 131 of the HNH book volume 2. There are no post production chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs.  Of course there are all of the usual usual McCoy pottery mold flaws.  One curious flaw to note looks like a big glaze pop that measures 5/8 by 3/8" (see top right of 4th pic).  It looks like a small piece just fell out...it does not look like a man made chip in my opinion because of the placement (it is not on an edge).  Would be a great addition to any McCoy collection and is a form that is hard to find.  A great item and very large and heavy.  Keep this in mind for shipping costs.
