The opening is approx 3 inches wide. modeled with 6 high relief applied leaves around the sides The glaze is not the deep cucumber, but a lighter shade of matt green. The edges of the leaves are lightly glazed thus accentuating the deep relief. The glaze is thickly applied and minor "skipped" areas occur near the base. The interior is a dark glossy green the bottom is clear gloss porcelain with a faint inpression of the "Grueby Stamp" and is initiled or signed "M.S." Some leave edges have very slight wear. The bowl is generally excellent.
