Excellent condition, original value: $810 retail gallery price. Slab built white earthenware with glazes and black underglaze (stripe detail). Inside is clear glaze. Dimensions are:  12 ½ inches tall by 13 ½ inches long by 3 inches wide. This teapot has a lid with a stylized locking key. This teapot was featured in a group exhibition outside Baltimore, MD in March, 2005. Signed by the artist with his signature, printed “Glumpler”, screw head stamp, and thumbprint on the underside along with the date 2005.    Glumpler’s modernist style ceramic work has been featured in many national ceramic art exhibitions and published in Ceramics Monthly, Clay Times and in the book “500 Teapots” (Lark Books).
