Consider this very rare handsome gigantic signed Steuben Dinosaur perfect for the ancient's birthday (60+++), the retiree who is finally going, the paleontologist at heart.  This is a major early creation by famed Steuben designer/writer/artist James Houston (famous for Arctic Fisherman, Eagle on Globe and many others). This is a very large statement sculpture, extremely hefty (at over 7lbs--the weight of a small bowling ball) with the superb detailing and clarity that is a hallmark of Steuben. This enormous Dinosaur is just over 7" tall by approx. 14" long. It is in superb/new condition with no chips, cracks or scratches and no scratches on the feet bottoms.  It is signed "Steuben" in diamond point script on the rear hind foot bottom.  This is a retired design. It is rare to find a Houston Dinosaur in any condition and this one is a treasure. This Dinosaur will be packed in it's Steuben Gift Box with flannel bag and Steuben Care Card. Steuben glass continues to be hand made by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY.  Because it is hand made, each piece is unique.  Steuben glass is frequently the United States’ gift of State to foreign dignitaries.
