Handpainted by the world famous manufactory                                                                                                  ROYAL DELFT                                              KONINKLIJKE PORCELEYNE FLES                                                                 ANNO 1653   This beautiful vase is 100% handpainted.  It is a guarantee from the PORCELEYNE FLES manufactory !   Signature from the painter with his initials. Made in 1969 - so nearly 40 years old.   This really tall and VERY rare vase is painted with  beautiful flowers.   It has a special rare form. Very wide and slightly octagonal waved. You can find also the octagonal form by the opening (please have a look to the photos) and by the rim of the lid. VERY special is the LION ! Very special is the lion, which is sitting on the top from the lid. The tail is LYING on the lid, formed like a relief.                                           Painted in the typical bright blue colours for which the Porceleye Fles factory is so popular. So very fine and with a lot of love painted.  A beautifull eyecatcher !!!!   The vase is in very good conditon, no chips, only 2 tiny tiny little and SHORT hairlines (1,5 and 2 cm = 0.6" and 0.8") by the opening (please have a look to the photo). Not worth to speak about and it is very difficult to find, if you don´t know it and the lid is on the vase.Slightly Craquelé is normal for this faience, don´t disturb but has a special charme.    Height appr. 19.7"     (Höhe ca. 50 cm) Girth appr. 32,7" (Unfang ca. 83 cm)   If you would buy a lidded vase from this dimension by the manufacturer directly, you have to pay in the moment                                                  1.500 Euro (1875 US$) and the prices are higher from year to year.
