Description Free-form Glass Mats Jonasson Lion Sculpture--Amazing!In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight!  In this fabulous glass jungle, Scandanavian glass sculptor has captured the majestic lioness peering through the Veldt grasses at her prey.  She's detailed immaculately and one can almost feel the grasses move in the African winds.  The marvelous sculpture is carved into a large, heavy solid slab of  free-form glass that stands an impressive 8 3/4 inches tall and is 6 1/4 inches across.  The slab of glass is 2 full inches thick and weighs in at more than 4 pounds!  The piece rests on a 4 1/4 inch by 2 inch rectangular base.  The piece is clearly artist-signed on the base and bears numbers and letters NU33196.  This piece is just waiting to sit on a lighted stand where the light can play through the details of the sculpture.
