Antique 19thC Meissen Porcelain Figurine Group Description Splendid 19th century museum quality Meissen porcelain figurine depicting 5 figures which are playing music, I think c 1850. Look at the pictures these will tell much more than my description. Marked on the base is blue the under glazed sword and hand inscribed number 3498 and impressed number 110 (see picture). In very good condition with no repairs (it will be possible that the end of the white flute has got a very good & small repair, you only see it under the ultra violet lamp) or cracks and as depicted on my pictures. Coming from an old estate here in Antwerp this very collectable piece is about 6” (15cm) tall. This is an absolute nice Meissen piece and an absolute must for collectors of Meissen porcelain.
