The bauhaus era vase is built by hand into an unusual form with very large rim that flows into a narrow base. The vase has a dark green drip glaze. The form is reminiscent of the sculptural forms created by Hans Coper and Lucie Rie. The vase is signed and we believe that it is either German or Swiss in origin. The vase has a chip on the underside of the rim with a fine 2.5 inch hairline and a repair at the base.Otherwise, the piece is in very good condition. Please email any questions.
