One of the pieces is this 10" vase called Waterlilies and Dragonfly on spruce Green.  The Fenton ware number for this vase is SB 032CJ. Tthis amazing vase was strictly limited to only 51 individually numbered pieces. Our vase is # 34/ 51. Cameo carving is a painstaking process. After the glass has been annealed, a special mask is taped to the surface of the glass. Using an advanced "vignetting" technique, eash piece is carefully sandcarved, by hand, using aluminum oxide crysal under pressure to take away some of the surface. Great individual skill and experience are needed to control this operation, as many dustinct stages of successive cameo carving are required to create the remarkable depth and the intricate design.
