The scenes are of peasants with flowers and a little bug. Some are grass hoppers and others are crickets. These are interesting plates. The plate manufacturer was Villeroy & Bach, with a backstamp used between 1874 and 1909, with what looks to be 'Metlach SAAR-BASIN'.but, the backstamp was painted over and the letter P and the word France were added. The size of the plate is 10 inches. Condition is very nice.No chips or cracks. Please wait for our invoice before paying for an item. Weight and size of box will determine cost of shipping.
