FRANK COOPER Sandland Ware Oxford England Marmalade Jar Description Beautiful marmalade jar with lid from Hanley Staffordshire England made especially for Frank Cooper Ltd Oxford Marmalade. this piece is sandland ware pottery and has markings on bottom. The jar measures 3.5 x 3.5 inches and features a lady and her dog selling oranges in the street to a man and is titled "Cries of London - Sweet Oranges". The condition is very good and has no signs of breaks, chips, or cracks. The lid and jar have crazing that gives it a nice patina but no crazing on art work plus there is some staining around the opening but does not show with lid on. The scene is same repeating on front and back and lid. Makes a great sugar or sweetener packet jar or use on vanity table.
