These particularly well documented books made it possible to look further into the genesis of the ceramics of Quimper and its evolution over three hundred years. Some 260 creators, famous or ignored collaborated with the four faience manufactures of Quimper between 1900 and 2006. With 512 colour pages, this fourth volume contains many reproductions of pieces, some completely unpublished, and documents from the families, privates or manufactures. This volume 4 is a dictionary treating from letter A to the letter L (from Abadie Landel to Luthringer). All these artists, in their various expressions gave place to a creation of a large variety of stylistic field: from the small Breton Art Deco of George Brisson to the flat parts of the statuettes of Bachelet, from the naturalist approach of Chanteau to the search of the abstraction of Krebs.
