Eight Shenango China plates rimrol restraunt 9 inch dia Start Price USD 9.95 Current Price USD 9.95 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price USD 24.95 Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, November 27, 2008 End Time Thursday, December 04, 2008 Location Tower, Minnesota See more about 'Eight Shenango China plates rimrol restraunt 9 inch dia' Description  Eight Shenango China PlatesThese plates are all the same design and have the same patten number on the back.  The pattend number is 2,178,274.  You can see on the back of the plates there are three circles that form a target style pattern.  The word RimRol is printed in the center.  Under the person, who I believe is supposed to be a Seminole Indian, are the words SHENANGO CHINA, NEWCASTLE, PA.  Four of the plates have a number and letter under the words.  It is difficult to read, and I think that three say N-9, one says B-9, and the other four do not have numbers.  The plates are all the same other than some have the number and some do not.  The plates are nine inches in diameter.  There are two green stripes on the plate.  The outside stripe is almost 1/8" thick.  That stripe has an outside diameter of 8-3/4".  The inside stripe is probably about 1/32" wide and has about a 6-5/8" diameter.  You can see three marks on the back side of each plate that are left from the manufacturing process.  The plates have been used and there are wear marks from utensils on the face of the plates.  There are no chips or cracks.  These plates have been sitting unused in boxes in the Tower, MN city hall for quite a few years.  The city clerk asked me to sell them on behalf of the city.  I plan to carefully package these plates into a large priority mail flat rate box and mail them to the buyer.  The buyer must pay the postage plus a one dollar handling fee.  Please plan to pay using paypal, a United States Postal Service money order or a cashier's check.  Please plan to pay within ten days of the end of the auction.  Thank you for your interest in these plates and best of luck bidding.
