Description
Up for auction are these vintage Edwin M. Knowles 22 kt. gold gilded assorted colored roses 9 1/4" Dinner Plates. The roses are pinks, yellow, and white. There are green leaves and gray stems/leaves as well. There is a gold design just inside the flat of the plate. There is also a brocaded gold pattern on the outer rim of each plate. The design in the plate itself on the outside rim is all floral/leaves. These are fabulous, as shown in the first and the last photos. The first is to show the size of the plate, and the fourth is to show the fabulous color on the plates. The second photo shows the kind of staining that is on two of these. The third photo shows the chips that is on two of them. Two of these three blemished plates have staining, One of the plates with staining also has a couple of chips. The third plate with blemishes has just the chip as pictured. This photo has the picture of the biggest chip on the three!!! 3 of the 10 have blemishes and only three total as described/pictured.. Two have small chips, one on the front right by the trim, the other on the back right by the edge(that the plate sits on/lip), One has some staining all pictured above.
