Description
Here's a lovely, early blue & white 9 3/4" Dinner Plate ~ it has impressed WEDGWOOD mark to reverse and an old sticker somebody has placed at some time saying Wedgwood Hibiscus Pattern c1808. Acording to volume 1 of Blue & White Pottery by Coysh this pattern was indeed introduce in 1806-7 and was the 3rd pattern to be introduced at the Wedgwood Factory. There is a 'to be felt for' teeny paint rub to the rim and another minor flake on the back rim ~ very small amount of light stain there too. Please look at the pictures and email me with any queries thanks!US buyers ~ please use my shipping price as a very close estimation ~ I will send the correct amount on your Invoice after auction ends ~ UK buyers ~ I will email you with Royal Mail postage after auction closes - thanks!
