Plate is decorated: with P & O SS Co., house flag - Lozengy blue & white with the initials P & O in blue letters. Plate is backstamped: Vitrified, John Maddock & Sons Ltd., England. Also has two (2) removable black cataloging labels with P and O, and JD/1. Plate is from the estate of John Denney, noted Columbia, PA., historian & collector.
