The entire piece is done in relief. The scene encircling the stein depicts the fighting of the 100 years war. The lid is edged in ornate brass encircled by gold scroll work. It has a brass eagle above the handle. It measures 10 ins. high and is perfect with no chips, cracks or repairs.
