This handpainted plate was sold to raise money for the restoration of the windmills in the city of Middelburg (Middelburg’s Molenherstel). The plate is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. It measures 6¾ inches in diameter (17,2cm). It can be wall hung. Marked to the reverse with the Makkum Tichelaar shield mark. A most attractive Delft plate to hang on your wall.
