This is a DOCUMENTED RARE and Special Loetz Phanomen Silver Overlay Art Glass Vase, circa 1900. The craftsmanship and fine precise details on the thick and heavy sterling silver overlay are fantastic. Sterling Silver is marked by the famous silver design firm ALVIN. The iridescent colors on this Phanomen decor are equally just as exceptional. Pictures can be super sized to appreciate this remarkable Loetz Phanomen Silver Overlay Vase. This vase is 5 1/4 inches tall. MINT Excellent Condition. A Very Rare Example. Fire Polished Rim and PERFECT POLISHED PONTIL. We combine shipping costs on multiple items. This vase is DOCUMENTED at the world wide known and highly respected Loetz website. Go to www.loetz.com , on the left side of the page click on "Decors Index" , in the second column 1900 - 1905 under Phanomen Genres click on "1/473" and "2/284, you can clearly see that this is a Loetz Phanomen variation decor. The Loetz website lists only a small percentage of all the Loetz Phanomen decors that were produced. Many many more Phanomen decors are documented in several very well known Loetz reference books such as the Passau Museum "PMC" books and "Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880 - 1940".
