This snake jug, rooster head sculpture is 17 inches tall, glazed in traditional alkaline glaze (tabacco spit) that I made from crushed glass, wood ash and clay.The glaze is very glossy and rivuleted. It is wood fired to 2400 degrees over the period of a very long day.This would make a nice addition to a Southern folk art or pottery collection.  Marked on the back " MB 08" and is in MINT CONDITION.
