Numbered and with the Manifattura Di Signa seal underneath, this is a rare piece. The pottery at Di Signa was famous for its reproduction of baroque and classical statuary and pieces from this pottery graced stately homes across Europe. Larger pieces fetch  many thousands of pounds. The piece offered here is a smaller size than the enormous garden statues and would have been  made for internal decoration.   The sculpture has a max length of approx 24cm (9.4") and a max depth of approx 9.5cm (3.75"). The height is just over 10cm (4"). It is in  good condition as the pics show, with perhaps a little nibbling - if anything it is a bit dirty- we have left it this way as it shows age.   Shipping within the UK is 6 GBP.
