It is the world's most famous & is the most sought after dishware.  I have included a list of this dinnerware that has retail & sale price for you to see.  Even the sale price is very high for you to take into consideration and is lower than most sales I've seen.WHAT DOES THE BLUE DANUBE PATTERN REPRESENT? Blue Danube was inspired by designs from the Chinese Yuan Dynasty period (1260-1368 A.D.). The flowers depict the ancient Chinese symbols of good fortune and happiness. The original design has been in production for more than 200 years. The unique and sought after patterns have helped the Blue Danube China line blossom into the most complete dinnerware pattern currently sold in the United States with over one hundred items available. Created in 1951, Blue Danube is an exquisite pattern, underglazed on translucent porcelain. Blue Danube is under glazed and fired at temperatures in excess of 2600 degrees, making each piece highly chip resistant, dishwasher safe, detergent proof and microwave safe. It is also lead free. Several items are designated as oven safe up to 500 degrees. The original backstamp was used from 1951-1976. This has the words Blue Danube in script on a ribbon banner with the words Reg. US. Pat. Off. underneath. The Rectangular Backstamp dates from 1977-1996. By using different backstamps the company states that it “provides the Blue Danube collectors a dating method adding value to the older pieces.” The current stamp has script words Blue Danube and a swirl decorative line “frame” around them. Mine are stamped with a frame around them & a few with script words & a swirl.  Thank you, ask any questions.   I have to reserve final shipping price until they are packed and on the way to UPS for the exact weight.  I have the following information from UPS Ground:  If I pack them & drop them off at their store based on 48 lbs of dishes, wrapping & box/es from AZ to NYC is $88.39 which includes insurance, fuel surcharge, etc.  I know the dishes weigh about 33 lbs, pretty close I think after weighing them on an accurate scale.  I don't know what the packing material & heavy duty box/es will weigh.  If I need to have UPS pack & box them, she said it would be over $200 just for the packing.  We can see what you desire to be done.  Just remember this $88 SH is an estimate only.Watch for more pieces by saving my site & by checking e-mail box and e-bay will let you know by e-mail when I list more.  I set my table for a couple of these pictures for you to see how lovely this would look for your big dinner.  Blue stems are for water & crystal for wine if you have them already or want to buy some blue stems.  I also have used gorgeous red goblets for my setting.Glasses, flatware & napkins are not included in this sale.  Only paypal will be accepted for this sale.  Happy Shopping   You can still get these in time for your Thanksgiving & Christmas dinner.  In fact I got these years ago in time for my own Thanksgiving dinner, along with new silver flatware and Waterford glasses!  I've added some pieces over the years to get to 12 place settings. Auction is for 8 place setting.   PrescottSilverVault Store
