The raised gold enamel is fabulous with exquisit detail.  These are the most stunning set of cobalt blue dinner plates that I have ever seen - in perfect condition with no gold rubbing. Produced in the Charles Ahrenfeldt Factory (in production from 1859-1969)  this set of antique Ahrenfeldt plates are marked under the glaze with the Ahrenfeldt, mark 6a a variation of mark 6 used 1894-1930s and marked over the glaze in gold with the Charles Ahrenfeldt mark 8a used during that same period of time.  These plates are ca., 1920 after WWI pre WWII when opulence and ostentation were a part of everyday dining!  A picture is worth a thousand words - so please look at the following photographs and bid with confidence.
