mandbhersch Store WE ARE OFFERING AN ANTIQUE RARE RANSBOTTOM BROTHERS POTTERY COMPANY  3 GALLON POTTERY STONEWARE CROCK POT WITH lid THE COLLECTIBLE EARLY BLUE CROWN  RANSBOTTOM BROTHERS POTTERY SIGNATURE MARK - ROSEVILLE, OHIO CIRCA: 1910 - 1920   The Ransbottom Brothers Pottery Company was in business in Roseville, Ohio from before the 1900's to 1920.  The mark of the crown as on this pottery was used on their pottery.  On November 7, 1919 the Ransbottom brothers filed for a copyright on this crown mark, claiming use since 1910.    Since the Ransbottom Brothers Pottery Co. were only in business for 10 years, during which time they operated a small pottery business employing 100 men, I can guess that this piece is quite rare.   BLUE CROWN SIGNATURE MARK CLEARLY DEFINED BEAUTIFULLY HAND CRAFTED WITH BASIC PRIMITIVE UTILITARIAN CHARM     A GORGEOUS IVORY CREAM WHITE BASE.   FEATURES THE SIGNATURE BLUE RANSBROTHERS COPYRIGHT CROWN SIGNATURE MARK WITH A "3" IN THE CENTER     MEASURES:  15" TALL X 11’’ DIAMETER USA on the bottom    CONDITION:  EXCELLENT TO NEAR MINT FOR ITS AGE.  NO CHIPS OR CRACKS Lid has a flaw in its crazing about the size of a nickel NOT a chip looks fro the kiln   .  CRAZING APPROPRIATE FOR ITS AGE.         THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL OLD THREE GALLON STONEWARE CROCK WITH THE THREE IN THE CROWN IN BLUE ON THE FRONT. IT WEIGHS ABOUT 15 POUNDS SO THE SHIPPING WILL BE A LITTLE HIGH WITH THE EXTRA PACKING IT WILL NEED TO MAKE IT SOMEWHERE UNBROKEN. Probably  crated  IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION   .
