Description ANTIQUE BOOTHS MELSARY PATTERN SERVING PLATTER RARE NR! Up for bid is this antique, Royal Semi Porcelain Serving Platter from Booths of England. This platter is in the Melsary Pattern and is quite rare! The makers mark on this beautiful platter, indicates that it was made by Booths, in Staffordshire England, circa 1900. There is an impressed 'Booths' on the base, along with the number 14 and a W. These can be seen in the pictures above. The platter has some crazing in the glaze and two small cracks on one end of the platter. There is also a chip on the backside and a very small one on the front. Please check out all the pictures above for a close up look at this wonderful item! The dimensions of the platter are: 16 7/8ths in length x 13 1/4 in width. The Mersary Pattern by Booths, is a highly sought after collectible and is very hard to come by these days. Most pieces are in private collections or museums. Do not pass up this wonderful find!
