Some of the cups have a green backstamp for ES (Erdmann Schlegelmilch) Germany and most pieces are hand marked 57. The footed or pedestal style cups are 2 1/4" tall, 3 3/8" in diameter and the saucers are just shy of 5 1/2". I noticed that the decals inside the cups are placed slightly lower on 2 cups than the rest--all but these 2 but up to the gold band on the rim. There is some minor gold loss, otherwise the set is in very good condition, having no chips or cracks.
