Description
IMPORTANT NOTE, PLEASE READ:  The shipping cost quoted on this listing is an ESTIMATE ONLY.  PLEASE DON'T PAY until you receive my eBay invoice!  I don't pack my sets until they're sold so I can't give you the exact postage cost until I see how many boxes it takes to ship the set safely, the weight of each box and where you live.  I don't charge anything for packing, handling or materials!  You will pay EXACTLY what the Post Office charges me. Welcome!  Today I'm Listing a Fantastic 79-Piece Set of Crown-Imperial Czechoslovakian Fine China Made and Decorated By Haas & Czjzek In Schlaggenwald, Czechoslovakia.  My book on marks indicated that the green mark is circa 1939-1945.  I couldn't find a pattern name or number?  If anyone knows the pattern name/number, I would appreciate an email.Condition:  The set is UNUSED and it decorated a china closet for over fifty years.  Naturally there are a few tiny stacking marks from the bottom of one piece rubbing against another while stored and the usual small marks from when the inspection people found a tiny piece of dirt or sand stuck in the glaze and ground it smooth (I've seen these on Limoges, Haviland and other top quality china).  The marks have no affect on the glaze because true translucent china is fully vitrified - meaning that it was fired at very high temperatures so the glaze goes completely through the porcelain (crazing isn't possible).Description:  My photos are good, so I will give only a brief description.  The china is twelve sided (very unusual) and is a high-gloss ivory color with 14 Kt. Gold trim.  There is a wonderful floral band that runs around the border of each piece and a floral group in the center.  The flowers are a deep pink, yellow & pink, blue and the leaves are a deep green and gold/rust color.  The plates and bowls have a gold band at the  verge line.  Here is a list of the pieces in the set:Seven Cups (2 1/8" tall x 3 3/4" across the top)Eleven 6 1/2" SaucersTwelve 8" Salad Plates (one has a small factory stain)Eleven 8" Soup BowlsNine 5 1/4" Fruit/Sauce BowlsEleven 10" Dinner PlatesEight 6 1/2" Bread & Butter PlatesOne 8" Round Covered Butter Dish W/drainerOne Oval Covered Vegetable Dish/Casserole (11 5/8" handle to handle x 6 3/8" wide x 4 1/2" high)One Round Covered Vegetable Bowl (7 3/4" diameter x 4 1/2" tall x 10 1/4" handle to handle)One Covered Sugar bowl (4 1/4" diameter x 4 5/8" tall)One Creamer (3 3/4" tall x 3 7/8" in diameter)One Oval Vegetable Bowl (10 5/8" long x 7 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" tall)One 12 1/4" Oval serving Platter (9 1/4" wide)One 16 3/4" Oval Serving Platter (12 1/2" wide)One Double Handled Gravy Boat W/attached under-plate (10" long x 6" wide x 3" tall) Very UnusualOne 10 1/4" Oval Relish Dish (10 1/4" long x 4 3/4" wide)Comments:  I Purchased this gorgeous set at the invitation of a very wealthy friends Daughter.  I had previously met her Mother at several area auctions over the years.  Her daughter had instructions to allow me to buy before the scheduled estate sale.  Frankly, I really hate to sell the set, but I'm retired now and have a 35-year collection to sell.  I've had the set for twenty years or so, I hope the person who buys it will appreciate it and use it!  It was a set for twelve, but she cleaned it annually and broke a few pieces in the process.  If you're looking for a fantastic set of fine Czechoslovakian fine china - this is it!IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:  Order with confidence, I offer a 7-day money back guarantee (I don't refund postage & insurance).  For a complete list of my selling & return policies please click on the blue and red "ME" symbol which is located on the right side of each listing under "Meet The Seller" (just behind my user I.D. and feedback number). If you have any questions, please contact me under "ask Seller a question" which is in that same area.
