It features an innovative, modern design, functionally well thought out, yet having a wonderful form. It is finished in a satin cream colored glaze with gloss brown banding. The underside of the piece is stamped "Cartier Cb C-87 Canada". A similar piece is on display in the Musee Marius Barbeau in Beauce - they state the last year of production as 1970. This piece measures 8" in length with a height of 4 ½" to the top of its handle - it weighs 1 lb and 4 oz. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
