No chips, no cracks, no stains, no repairs, nor are there any other flaws. I think the pattern is popularly know as 'Blue Onion', but then I am not an expert on identifying these Blue Danube patterns. These pieces have a grove for holding a cigarette, so are obviously ashtrays, but they could also be used as butter pats. All 4 are bottom marked with the Blue Danube mark shown below.
