Hull Pottery Co. made this high-glaze Parchment and Pine line vase in the early 1950s.  It features pearl gray with a brown trim in the glaze.  A spray of pine cones and needles decorate the scrolled end of the parchment.  The original foil sticker from a Cincinnati, Ohio store is still in place. SIZE: 10-1/2" tall.  Base is 5-1/2" in diameter. Condition: Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.  Beautiful glaze.  This is a great piece.  Slight sign of dust in a recessed area at the inside bottom of the vase.   Foil label has a couple of minor wear spots. Age: Hull Pottery Co. made the Parchment and Pine line from 1951-54.  This has a gold and black foil label for  The Lewis & Neblett Co. Distinctive GLASS and CHINA, Cincinnati.  Marked with the incised script Hull over the block letter U S A and the style number S-4. NOTE:  Any reflections, glare or white spots in photos are photographic problems and are not problems with the piece. Wonderful for your collection or house! USPS Priority Mail costs $4.80 and up, plus insurance starting at $1.70. So many items cost as little as $6.50.  We use that primarily for small, inexpensive items.  However, we pass along our business discount so it costs even less! In some instances we discount the discount!  We generally use UPS Ground  for more expensive, large, heavy items.  We charge actual shipping, so if the fee we list is more than actual shipping, we refund the difference.  In no instance, do we charge more.  In some instances, you may pay less than the actual shipping cost! UPS can be delivered only to street addresses, so any item sent to a post office box must go by USPS and we have found they charge significantly more. For international shipments, we  use insured Priority Mail International or Express Mail International.  NOTE: We used to charge a very small handling fee to offset our rising materials costs. But even with fast-rising fuel costs, we have eliminated that handling charge without reducing the high quality of our packing or speed of shipping. We would like you to be a regular customer! Remember, shipping cost is based on size and weight of the item, not on what you pay for an item. Sometimes shipping will cost more than the item, particularly if its an inexpensive item.
