Each item is hand-painted in silver (and marked as such on the bottom). Condition:  All pieces of this delicate china are in EXCELLENT condition -- with NO signs of wear whatsoever!  NO utensil wear, NO chips, NO cracks, NO crazing, NO discoloration, NO repairs, NO loss of silver paint anywhere -- all perfect like it just came out of the original box! This set is from my great aunt's estate.Use it for an elegant presentation for espresso around the holidays -- or a treasured heriloom gift for your favorite COFFEE CONNOISSEUR!Lefton manufactured this set in 1949. The pattern is SILVER WHEAT (sometimes called platinum wheat), and is hand-painted (and stamped as such).Back-Stamped in GOLD: crown makers mark with “Lefton China Hand Painted Reg. U.S. Pat.
