By the way, you have to be looking for it to see it.  This beautiful vase is roughly 6 1/4" tall X about 4 1/2" at widest.  The mark says "Weller" in distinctive script.  The piece shape # is "R-2".  I am not a Weller collector but I know that Weller went out of business around 1945 and I do know that the mark looks authentic.  The piece has the look and feel of genuine Weller Pottery.
