Ref:   75216 These two fantastic dessert bowls were designed by the celebrated artist Susie Cooper, from the United Kingdom. They were produced during the early 20th Century and are typically ‘Art Deco’ in style. They are decorated in the ‘Printemps‘ design, featuring a central flower motif, picked out in vibrant colours, on a cream coloured pottery ground.  They are further embellished with patterned banding.  Each piece is hand painted and is finished in high quality gloss glaze. Marks & Backstamps Each piece is marked with the 'Susie Cooper' backstamp, please scroll down to the photograph below. Condition & Size The bowls have some extremely minor surface crazing, which is common in pieces of this vintage, and does not detract.  Otherwise, they are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. Each bowl measures approximately 1¼" in height and 8" in diameter.
