1925-38 PICKARD CHINA GOLD BROCADE FLARED VASE CZECH Start Price USD 54.95 Current Price USD 54.95 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, November 26, 2008 End Time Wednesday, December 03, 2008 Location Mount Pleasant, Iowa See more about '1925-38 PICKARD CHINA GOLD BROCADE FLARED VASE CZECH' Description 1925-38 PICKARD CHINA GOLDEN BROCADE FLARED VASE This GORGEOUS GOLDEN FLARED VASE has a LOVELY BROCADE FLORAL DESIGN ON THE EXTERIOR.  I have been told that the gold that was used to decorate this vase was 24 KT.  While the exterior of the vase has the BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN SHEEN, the interior of the vase is a lovely MINT GREEN .  This vase stands 5 inches tall with a top of the vase flaring out to a 4 1/8 inch diameter.  This vase is clearly marked on the bottom that the vase itself was made in Czechoslovakia, but the decoration on the vase was done by Pickard China Company of Chicago, Illinois. This vase would have been decorated sometime between 1925 and 1938 according to the Pickard logo used on the bottom of the vase.   On the interior of the vase it looks like an ever so slight bit of the gold is on the green interior color right up next to the top rim.  I also notice an inverted 'v' shape in the green as well.  I am not exactly sure what this is, but it does not appear to be a crack.  I see no signs of chips in the porcelain.   This is a VERY LOVELY EXAMPLE OF PICKARD CHINA DECORATING with it clearly marked and identified with a logo or origin and decoration.  Don't miss out on this EXCELLENT PIECE OF BOHEMIAN & PICKARD GOLDEN VASE!!!
