See more about '1920s ViCTOR DURAND MOORiSH CRACKLE ART GLASS LAMP mint' Description HI, thanks for looking.   Please note the photos FAIL to CAPTURE the BEAUTY of this VERY RARE  VINTAGE,  VICTOR DURAND ART GLASS LAMP / LIGHT.  This  lamp features a race piece of  MOORISH CRACKLE GLASS as the main body of the  lamp.   I will describe these in several ways.  First the glass.   We collect fine glass and know HOW to INSPECT GLASS for flaws or damage. We did a VERY Careful VISUAL and TOUCH exam.  We ran our fingers around the ENTIRE surface of this.  We tapped this w/ our finger to make sure it RANG LIKE a BELL, which is what you want to hear, so you know there are NO HIDDEN cracks.  If it were cracked it would thud and not ring.   This is DAMAGE FREE, with NO  dings, chips, flakes or repairs.   The iridescent surface of  blues, golds, pinks, purples and silver is in MINT condition also.   The base and metal fittings are all in vg to excellent condition with a dark patina which comes only with age.  The metal is thick, heavy and strudy.  It is NOT, cheap pot metal or white metal and it is not cast iron as a magnet does not stick to it.  The base is PROBABLY BRONZE, it is not signed.   The electrical  work on this works perfectly and  the chain pulls  operate 2 light sockets.   The sockets are marked but we cannot make out the brand.   This is  ready go just plug it in.   This is about 23'' tall x 6'' across the metal base.   The glass part is 9.3" tall, with a max width of  about 3.25'' across.    This is from a SMOKE FREE + PET FREE HOME.   We will ship worldwide and it will be based on an 8 pound box,  this will be an oversized  box.   Please use the rate finder to determine shipping to you.   This will be double boxed and wrapped & padded.  INSURANCE is REQUIRED.
