It is marked to the base :R.LALIQUE FRANCE#3013The fact that it bears the mark "R. Lalique", means the glass was made during Lalique's lifetime. (The later post 1945 mark merely reads "Lalique".) The sharply defined ART DECO patterning combined with the soft colours and shell like shape create a beautifully balanced, classic piece that displays a very subtle blue colour when light is shining onto the piece, but takes on a beautiful "honey" colour when light shines through it - a characteristic that is typical to the quality pieces of opalene glass produced by Lalique in the early years.It measures  16.5 cm (6 1/2") across the rim, is 2cm (1") high.It is in very good condition and displays beautifully! ***NO CHIPS; NO CRACKS; NO RESTORATIONS.To be 100% accurate there is a gather of very small bubbles with very light surface wear to one small area.
