Description
~~ AUTHENTIC EMILE GALLE CAMEO VASE ~~ This is a footed ovoid vase tapering to a round flared top. Firepollished caramel, olive and pink flowers, buds and leaves displayed on a mottled atmospheric ground with blue and very light rose. It is signed in cameo, Galle'. It is 10" high and 3 1/2" wide. It is in excellent shape with no chips, cracks, or repairs. I know that this is a valuable vase, but to be sure I have a written appraisal by Susan Claxton Norman, IIDA for $9,000 to $12,000. At the time of this appraisal in 2000, Ms Norman had 28 years experience in interior design, estate evaluations and appraisal work. Services provided to individuals, attorneys, certified Public Accountants, Bank Trust officers and insurance companies. Her professional designation is I.I.D.A., registraion #151160.
