This outstanding flip glass is decorated with an American eagle with shield on the front and has a tulip on the reverse. It has a rolled rim and pontil scar on the bottom with good honest wear along the rim of the base. We attribute this to Stiegel. It dates from the 18th Century and measures 5 + 5/8 inches tall by 4 + ½ inches across the rim. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
