Shown, below is the actual authentic  STEUBEN ART GLASS SCULPTURE / FIGURINE you are bidding on. This elegant design by can be seen in the STEUBEN CATALOG as item # 1232 and this is known as a SOARING EAGLE.  Over the years this design has changed a little but the  current retail price for this is $4,1OO!  This magnificent sculpture, was designed by PAUL SCHULZE and over years reworked by Joel Smith. This uses the optical beauty of crystal clear glass to portray the BEAUTY, GRACE & POWER of this our PROUD American symbol.  The eagle is formed in molten glass and then cut and polished by hand. The delicate ribbing of the glass suggests the eagle's feathers in flight,  blown back by the wind as it  soars in the sky.  This PROUD EAGLE is in PRISTINE FLAWLESS MINT CONDITION and  has sat in its original  ''leather type material'',  form fitted, 14" x 14" x 10", double locking, storage case from STEUBEN, since new.  The RED SILK and FELT LINED,  wooden box has the name STEUBEN, inside the box.  The box is also in excellent condition with a tiny bit of wear.   The crystal clear glass is in  PERFECT -  MINT condition and from a smoke & pet free home.  We collect fine glass & know how to inspect glass for flaws or damage. We did a very careful VISUAL and TOUCH exam of this. We ran our fingers and hand all over the surface of  this. We felt the inside and outside rim,  ridges, beak and base.  We felt and looked over the entire surface.
